With over 20 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, I am deeply committed to helping families overcome communication challenges and make meaningful progress. My career has included working in a community speech clinic and an autism school, where I’ve had the privilege of treating a wide range of speech and language diagnoses. I am passionate about finding individualized solutions that truly make a difference!
One of my areas of expertise is treating severe articulation disorders, including childhood apraxia of speech. This specialty is supported by additional training, experience, and a strong personal interest in this area of practice. I’m also honored to be recognized on the "Apraxia Kids" website, reflecting my commitment to providing the best possible care for children with apraxia.
As an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) specialist, I’ve worked with individuals in the community facing significant communication challenges. My work extends beyond direct therapy. I’ve also taught the graduate AAC course at The University of Akron and presented on AAC topics at local, state, national, and international conferences.
Outside of my professional life, I’m a wife, mother of two, and an avid horsewoman.

With 18 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist, I am passionate about helping individuals and families overcome communication challenges and achieve their goals. Before joining Starfish Speech, I dedicated my career to working at a community speech clinic, where I gained extensive experience treating a variety of speech and language diagnoses.

I specialize in early language intervention for toddlers with language disorders and hold a Hanen certification. I also treat children with childhood apraxia of speech and am recognized as a preferred provider on the "Apraxia Kids" website.
Supporting individuals of all ages who stutter is a particular passion of mine. I hold certification in the Lidcombe Program and co-taught the graduate-level fluency course at Case Western Reserve University for several years. My dedication to this area is also reflected in over a decade of running a successful stuttering camp for school-aged children in the Cleveland area, as well as providing both individual and group therapy. I am deeply devoted to helping people find their voice and communicate with confidence!
Outside of work, I am a wife and proud mother of three daughters. I enjoy spending time outdoors, taking long walks, and diving into a good book.
